Indianapolis police fan out in north-side neighborhood to find people of interest in burglary

INDIANAPOLIS - There was a strong metro police presence early Saturday morning on the city's north side as investigators launched a search for two people of interest in a nearby burglary.

At roughly 3:30 a.m., RTV6 crews found several IMPD police crews searching streets of a neighborhood just northeast of the intersection of Westlane and North Michigan roads. Police said they were searching for two suspects in multiple areas near Creekwood Apartments. That included Harcourt Road and Landmark Drive.

IMPD said a burglary occurred at some nearby apartments, and two burglars ran away on foot.

Very few details were immediately available from police, including what the two people looked like. Patrol cars may have closed streets in the area.
