INDIANAPOLIS - An autistic boy who had been missing for several hours early Saturday was found safe shortly after police asked for help to find him.
Indiana Capitol Police found Cortez Sanders, 12, at West and Washington streets about 9 a.m.
Sanders had been last seen about 1 a.m. at his home in the 3100 block of North Olney Street, Indianapolis police Lt. Chris Bailey said.
Police had been concerned about Sanders because he "lacks the ability to communicate verbally and is vulnerable," Bailey said.
"Cortez is being reunited with his family," Bailey said.
