INDIANAPOLIS - Police are offering a reward for the arrest of a man accused of stealing hundreds of gallons of diesel fuel from across the city.
Norman Thomas faces two counts of burglary and two counts of theft in connection with a series of storage unit burglaries in May.
Now police suspect Thomas may be crisscrossing the city, pilfering diesels fuel from various construction sites.
Thomas drives a full-size, red or maroon Dodge Ram extended cab pickup truck with square metal fuel tanks in the bed of the truck, and hauls a black trailer with a large red tank that says "water" on the side, police said.
Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana is offering a reward for information leading to Thomas' arrest.
Anyone with information is asked to call Indianapolis police at 317-327-3811 or Crime Stoppers at 317-262-TIPS.
