INDIANAPOLIS - An Indianapolis-based school bus was involved in a collision Friday morning on the south side of Indianapolis.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) said at just after 6:30 a.m., a crash was reported between a school bus and a car near the intersection of Shelby and East Raymond streets.
First responders on the scene said the bus is contracted by Indianapolis Public Schools (IPS) but is not an IPS-owned bus. RTV6's Lauren Casey reported there were no children on board or injuries sustained in the crash.
Skycam 6 flew over the scene and RTV6's Shea Goodpaster said it appeared a passenger car rear-ended the school bus. A transport bus had arrived to help deal with the crash.
