INDIANAPOLIS -- Memorial Day wasn't much of a holiday for Indianapolis police, who were called to multiple shootings within hours of each other all across Indianapolis.

The first shooting happened on east Minnesota Street, where a 17-year-old was shot in the arm.

Other rounds fired from that gun hit nearby apartments.

Next, on the far east side near 21st Street and German Church Road, police learned another person was shot in the leg. The victim drove themselves several blocks away, where they were found by emergency responders.

The most serious shooting happened on the city's northwest side near 38th Street and I-465.

There, a group of people in a vehicle fired several high-powered rifle rounds into a green Kia. The driver of that Kia was struck several times and was listed in critical condition.

Police believe the shooting was a targeted attack.

Police also responded to a less-serious shooting near East Washington Street that left a fourth victim injured.
