INDIANAPOLIS - A warrant for an Indianapolis woman accused of driving drunk and backing over her fiancé, killing him, has been withdrawn after confusion over her court date.
Donna Miner, 50, was arrested early Friday on a preliminary charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated causing death after she hit and killed her fiancé, Jeffrey Hawkins, outside the "That Place" bar near Emerson Avenue and County Line Road on Indianapolis' south side, police said.
Miner posted $15,000 bond and was supposed to be in court Monday morning, but when she didn't show, a warrant was issued for her arrest, court officials said.
The warrant was later withdrawn after it was determined that the bondsman had given Miner the wrong court date, court officials said.
Miner will appear in court Tuesday morning.
