PENDLETON, Ind. -
An Indianapolis woman was arrested on Sunday after police said she attempted to smuggle prescription drugs inside the state prison in Pendleton, officials said.
Joyce Taylor, 37, was accused of attempting to bring 21 strips of Suboxone, a medication used to treat morphine addiction, inside the Pendleton Correctional Industrial Facility.
Taylor faces felony charges of attempting to traffic and possession of controlled substances. She was taken into custody by the Indiana State Police and held on a $10,000 bond.
