7 handguns, 2 long guns stolen from Greenwood gun store, reward offered for arrest of suspect

GREENWOOD, Ind. -- The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) are offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible for stealing multiple guns from a Greenwood gun store early Wednesday morning. 

The ATF says around 2:45 a.m. someone broke into Elmore's Firearms at 250 N. State Route 135 in Greenwood. Seven handguns and two long guns were taken during the burglary. 

ATF is working with the Greenwood Police Department to investigate the incident. 

They are offering a reward up to $2,500, which will be matched by the NSSF for a possible reward of up to $5,000.
