INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indianapolis Zoo is preparing to welcome more monkeys next spring.

About 30 long-tailed Macaques are getting ready to call Indianapolis home. These monkeys are swimmers, and work is already underway on their new exhibit.

They will take up residence where the polar bears were previously found.

Judy Palermo, senior manager of public relations with the Indianapolis Zoo, said, “Guests will be able to see the macaques daily starting Memorial Day weekend 2018 – but weather permitting, they may get some sneak peeks at the macaques in the spring.”
