INDIANAPOLIS -- As Hurricane Harvey's unprecedented damage continues to unfold, Indiana organizations have come together in an unprecedented way to respond and help those in need.

Hoosiers Helping Houston is a relief effort that involves all Indianapolis media, TV, radio, print and digital, partnering with each other and the Red Cross, Kroger and Fedex to collect and distribute donations to help those who are reeling from this tragedy that has hit our country.

Beginning Thursday, September 7 until Saturday September 9, between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., you can drop off the following supplies at the below listed locations:

  • Bottled water
  • Packaged snacks
  • Juice (non-glass containers)
  • Baby wipes
  • Diapers

You're asked not to bring any other supplies to the designated drop off points, and asked not to bring these supplies to any local Red Cross location, as they are overwhelmed.

Here are the drop-off locations:

  • Kroger Marketplace - 5350 E Thompson Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46237
  • Kroger - 9799 E 116th St, Fishers, IN 46037
  • Kroger - 5718 Crawfordsville Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46224
  • Buckingham Offices: 21 E. St. Joseph St., Indianapolis, IN 46204

You can always donate money to the Red Cross, too, by:

Currently, there are 60 Hoosier Red Cross workers on the ground in Texas and parts of Louisiana.

Join us as we come together as one to help those in need in Texas.
