BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation is encouraging fans to use alternate routes to get to Saturday’s Indiana University football game against the Georgia Southern Eagles because of construction.

SR 37 remains under construction from just south of Martinsville to just south of Bloomington and the posted speed limit is currently 45 mph through the entire construction zone. Travel on SR 37 will also be restricted to one lane in each direction from Legendary Drive to Chambers Pike in the northern section of the I69 Section 5 construction zone.

INDOT urges drivers to use I-65 to SR 46 or SR 67 to SR 46 as an alternate route to the game.

If fans have to use SR 37, INDOT is urging drivers to follow the posted speed limit, leave plenty of room between other vehicles, be aware of changing traffic patterns and give themselves extra time to get to the game.
