INDIANAPOLIS -- A man was found dead in the street in front of a church on Indianapolis' north side early Sunday morning.
Officers were called to the 3300 block of N. Sherman Drive just before 7:30 a.m. after a man was found dead in a grassy area in front of a church. Officers responding to the scene said the man had trauma to his body. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
He was later identified as Marvin Turner, 45.
The body was sent to the Marion County Coroner's office to determine the exact cause of death.
