BEECH GROVE, Ind. – A dog that belongs to an elderly Air Force veteran was returned home Tuesday.
Maxx, a 10-pound Chihuahua, went missing Friday evening outside of the Beech Grove American Legion Post and people in the city began helping 84-year-old Donald Johnson find his dog.
“That was awesome,” said Johnson. “I would never have expected anything like that. Just the great people in the town of Beech Grove."
Johnson said he was thankful Maxx was found.
