INDIANAPOLIS -- Cody Weir, 25, of Avon, was arrested Friday night in connection with the death of a woman in a luxury apartment complex along the canal in downtown Indianapolis, according to police.

Police say they aren't looking for any other suspects.

The victim was identified late Friday night as Carina Rodriguez, 23. Rodriguez was stabbed, the Marion County coroner said Monday. The cause of death has been ruled as homicide.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department homicide detectives were called to 9 on Canal on W. 9th Street just after 6:30 a.m.  They found Rodriguez dead in the workout room on the second floor of the building, suffering from "obvious signs of trauma."

The video below, released by IMPD detectives, led them to Cody Weir. Police say Weir will face a preliminary charge of murder.

9 on Canal is a luxury apartment complex on the Indy canal that features amenities such as a coffee shop, a Crossfit gym and a Burgerhaus restaurant.

In 2013, Weir was charged with criminal confinement and rape with deadly force.
