LAWRENCE, Ind. – A woman was hospitalized Saturday night after she was shot in the head in Lawrence Saturday.
Lawrence police said the incident happened in the 8800 block of Pendleton Pike near Post Road where officers found the 38-year-old woman.
She was taken to IU Methodist Hospital and listed in serious condition.
Officers said witnesses have given them conflicting suspect information. Police said there was an ongoing dispute between neighbors and they believe alcohol was a factor in the shooting.
