TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. - The next stretch of Indiana interstate is all ready to be re-done this week in Tippecanoe County after crews wrapped up a long project that’s been slowing down traffic in Lebanon, Ind.
The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) said a patch and resurfacing project on Interstate 65 will begin on or after Monday, with both daytime and nighttime lane restrictions.
The project will span roughly two miles in Tippecanoe County. INDOT said the project will begin just a little more than one mile north of State Road 28 to roughly three miles north of State Road 28.
Officials said the plan is for the contractor to work in the southbound lanes this fall and the northbound lanes next year. The project is slated to be complete by June 30, 2014.
