INDIANAPOLIS –Indianapolis meteorologist for WISH-TV, Randy Ollis, announced he was cancer free Thursday afternoon.
Ollis made his announcement via Facebook and Twitter.
“I’m trying to fight the tears here, but I’m cancer free and I’m so thankful,” he said.
The father of four children announced his battle with cancer in May and underwent several chemotherapy treatments over the past couple of months, which he documented on his Facebook page.
In May, Ollis also shaved his head following chemotherapy. In his Facebook video, Ollis said he will undergo more radiation treatment in the coming weeks.
