Every day, we'll keep you in the loop on happenings in Indy. Today and this weekend, there are a quite few items on the to-do list that might tickle your fancy.
Marion County Fair
The fair starts Friday and ends the 29th, so get in while the getting's good! Admission is just $5 and kids 5 and under get in free. Head to the Marion County fairgrounds (7300 E. Troy Ave., Indianapolis) for fun all weekend. Or head to its website for more information.
Food Truck Friday
Get some fresh spring air on your lunch break and head out to Georgia Street for the weekly tradition. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. head to the west block of Georgia Street to pick from more than 15 food trucks. Barbecue, pizza, cupcakes, Mexican food and more.
The food trucks are so good, Food Network show "Eat Street" visited Indianapolis to get the scoop on the amazing tastes offered.

Another Food Truck
Georgia Street isn't the only spot to grab a quick bite at a food truck on your Friday lunch hour! Head to the Hoosier Lottery building Friday from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for another food truck.
The Hoosier Lottery building is located on North Meridian Street, just north of I-65 (right next to the RTV6 building).
Farm To Fork Market
Looking for some chemical-free food? Head out to the Farm to Fork Market at Normandy Farms between 4 and 7 p.m. Friday. It's open every week, rain or shine, and is located on the city's northwest side.
Georgia Street Happy Hour
Relax outdoors over a cocktail or beer and enjoy appetizers as live jazz fills the air. It all happens from 5 to 7 p.m. on the Boardwalk on Georgia Street.

Karaoke for Adults
If you're looking for singing, drinks and fun, look no further than Schneider's Pub on the south side (8017 S. Meridian St.). Karaoke on the Rocks kicks off at 9 p.m. Saturday.
Lots of fun for the kids this weekend
The Children's Museum of Indianapolis is always chock-full of fun activities for the kids. This weekend, among many other activities, your kids can try rock climbing! Plus, dinosaur fossils, Egyptian tomb treasures and more!

Summer Solstice celebration and 5K in not-quite-Indy-but-almost-there
Head to Carmel this Saturday for the We've Got Your Back 5K Run/1-Mile Walk benefiting spinal research and preventive education. Find out more about the race here. You'll see some RTV6-ers there, for sure!
And you can also just plain come for the Summer Solstice Festival afterward with a beer and wine garden, food trucks and dancing in the streets. It's all happening from 8 to 10 p.m. Saturday at Monon Square (620 S. Rangeline Road in Carmel).
Do some good while attending the Dave Matthews Band concert
For those of you heading to Klipsch Music Center this weekend to see Dave Matthews Band, you're encouraged to participate in the concert food drive. Donations of non-perishable food items will be collected outside the gate. Plus, don't forget to attend the on-site "Eco-Village" to learn more about Dave Matthews Band's efforts to prevent world hunger.
