#INDYTODAY | Events for Monday, May 19 in the Circle City

INDIANAPOLIS - Indy 500 practice runs open to the public and world-record breaking attempts! Here's the scoop on some events this Monday in Indianapolis with #INDYTODAY.

Every day, we'll keep you in the loop on happenings in Indy. Today, there are a few items on the to-do list that might tickle your fancy.

Additional Indianapolis 500 practice

The IMS schedule features an extra day of on-track activity with the addition of this IndyCar series practice session. From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, it's $15 for adults to get in, and for kids 12 years and younger, it's free!

Attempt to break a world record: And you can help

Franklin Central High School will be trying to break a world record today. It'll be an official attempt in conjuction with the Guinness Book of World Records. The record? "The Highest Number of People in One Place Performing the Cup Song." 

If you want to participate, you can head to the high school's gym before 3:30 p.m., which is when they'll make the attempt!
