Indianapolis Go Red For Women Luncheon
One-thousand women will gather to celebrate the 10th birthday of the Go Red For Women Campaign Friday, and the celebration is right here in Indianapolis.
Health screenings, a lunch program and informational sessions are just a few of the activities taking place.

Indiana State Museum GeoFest
For those who enjoy fossils, rocks and all parts of geology, this is for you.
Indiana State Museum's GeoFest kicks off Friday and runs through Sunday. The museum's 12th-annual gem, mineral and fossil show takes place on all three levels of the downtown museum, featuring more than 25 exhibitors and organizations.
Geofest is included with museum admission prices and gives the chance to win prizes and participate in hands-on activities.

Heart of the Brews food and drink event
If you're looking for some lively Friday-night plans, come downtown to the Omni Severin Hotel for the "Heart of the Brews" food and drink event.
Attendees will learn about pairing foods with certain brews during a fun and relaxing evening, which also includes a silent auction with sports memorabilia, gift certificates and more.
The event supports research for kids with ailing hearts.
