#INDYTODAY | Events for Thursday, July 10 in the Circle City

INDIANAPOLIS - Canal concerts, Black Expo celebrations, and another fun baseball game! Here's the scoop on some events this Thursday in Indianapolis with #INDYTODAY.

Every day, we'll keep you in the loop on happenings in Indy. Today, there are a few items on the to-do list that might tickle your fancy.

Indiana Black Expo, Inc., Summer Celebration

It's the first day of the 44th-annual Summer Celebration hosted by the Indiana Black Expo. The event, which stretches till July 20, promises all sorts of fun (plus some business and job opportunities, too). Find out more in our story.

All Veterans Job Fair

If you're a vet or military spouse seeking a job, head to the Indianapolis Museum of Art from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. today. More than 300 vets and military spouses are expected to attend and meet with local and national employers.

Indians take on Columbus Clippers

The Indians face off against the Columbus Clippers in a double-header (two 7-inning games) beginning at 6:05 p.m. at Victory Field. Tickets are $10-$16 for adults and $9-$15 for kids 14 years and younger. More info here.

Concerts on the Canal

Concerts on the Canal continues tonight beginning at 6. Attendees are usually invited to reserve a table on the terrace of the Indiana Historical Society, but it's sold out this week. You can still listen on the hill across from the canal. The free concert will feature the Cool City Band with Shannon Forsell and Laney Wilson.

Out-of-Indy but close: Farmers market

If you're looking for a farmers market in the greater Indianapolis area, look no farther today than Hamilton County. Wilson Farm Market, an Amish market, opens at 9 today and runs through 6 p.m. on U.S. Highway 31 at 256th Street.
