Los Angeles Lakers in town to play Pacers

The L.A. Lakers are in the Circle City to take on the Pacers at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. The Pacers are ready for another win after their victory over the Lakers Jan. 28 in Los Angeles. Fans of the Blue and Gold are hoping an injured Kobe Bryant and his Lakers lose their fifth-straight game downtown starting at 7 p.m. Find info on purchasing tickets here.

The 25th-Annual Joseph T. Taylor Symposium at IUPUI

Indiana University-Purdue University-Indianapolis' School of Liberal Arts is marking the 25th year of the symposium Tuesday. "Politics, Race and Place" will be explored, seeing how 25 years of social and demographic change has shaped our city. The symposium runs from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the IUPUI Campus Center. Attendance is free.
