INDIANAPOLIS - Food trucks, farmers markets, workouts and coffee with your cops. Here's the scoop on some events this Wednesday in Indianapolis with #INDYTODAY.
Every day, we'll keep you in the loop on happenings in Indy. Today, there are a few items on the to-do list that might tickle your fancy.
Coffee with a Cop
Start your day off with a cup of coffee alongside one of Indianapolis' police officers. The McDonald's on East 10th Street is holding the event at 9 a.m. It's a good chance for you to voice concerns or questions you may have about your neighborhood and get to know your police department.
Indianapolis City Market | "The Original Farmers Market"
It's going to be the perfect day for the Indianapolis City Farmers Market to return downtown for its 17th season. It kicks off at 9:30 a.m. on Market Street between Alabama and Delaware streets and runs every Wednesday through October!

Get up out of your office chair and head to Georgia Street for the weekly installment of "Workout Wednesdays." And it's free!
Red Kettle Cookout
Head to Georgia Street from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the Salvation Army Red Kettle Cookout. RTV6 will be represented by our own Drew Smith, who makes a mean burger!
Food Truck... Wednesday!
No, it's not Friday yet. But you can grab some tasty food from a food truck downtown for lunch! Der Pretzel Wagon will be parked outside the Hoosier Lottery starting at 11 a.m. That's at 1302 N. Meridian St., right next to RTV6! The truck accepts both cash and major credit cards.
