INDIANAPOLIS - Top-tier swimmers and divers, the first day of spring, happenings at the Eiteljorg and a wee bit of heavier traffic. Here's the scoop on some things going on this Thursday in Indianapolis with #INDYTODAY.

Food trucks for a good cause... What could be better?

If you're looking for something to do on this first day of spring and you also want to help out a great cause, head over to IUPUI for the Round Up for Riley fundraising event. Enjoy tasty meals from food trucks between 11 a.m .and 1:30 p.m. All proceeds go to the Riley Heart Research Center through the Riley Children's Foundation.

IMS Indy Girls make first-ever appearance

Head downtown Thursday night for the Midwest Fashion Week Runway Showcase. The Indianapolis Motor Speedway Indy Girls will be modeling their Grand Prix of Indianapolis presentation dresses. The showcase starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Indianapolis Arts Garden.

NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships

Many of the country's best collegiate divers and swimmers are getting their feet wet in Indy this week for the NCAA Division-III Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving championships. Through Saturday, the athletes will compete for national titles. Single-session tickets and all-session tickets are still available for all events at IUPUI's IU Natatorium.

Indianapolis Hospitality Week

The Eiteljorg Museum will host its first Indianapolis Hospitality Week. Hospitality industry workers and their families will receive complimentary admission to the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art through Sunday.
 
 
Possible traffic headache
 
As the National Council of Teachers of English arrive downtown this week, you could see some gummed-up traffic. The Conference on College Composition and Communication began Wednesday in Indy and runs through Saturday. The event is being held at the JW Marriott.
