#INDYTODAY | Events for Wednesday, July 23 in the Circle City

INDIANAPOLIS - Baseball, food trucks, farmers markets and fitness plans to burn off all the hearty food! Here's the scoop on some events this Wednesday in Indianapolis with #INDYTODAY.

Every day, we'll keep you in the loop on happenings in Indy. Today, there are a few items on the to-do list that might tickle your fancy.

Indianapolis City Market | "The Original Farmers Market"

The Indianapolis City Farmers Market is hopping today downtown for its 17th season. It kicks off at 9:30 a.m. on Market Street between Alabama and Delaware streets and runs every Wednesday through October!

Workout Wednesdays

Get up out of your office chair and head to Georgia Street for the weekly installment of "Workout Wednesdays." And it's free!

Food Truck... Wednesday!

No, it's not Friday yet. But you can grab some tasty food from a food truck downtown for lunch! A food truck will be parked outside the Hoosier Lottery from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. That's at 1302 N. Meridian St., right next to RTV6!

This week, it's a food truck from Circle City Spuds & Grub. You can see its full menu here, but here's a little taste of what's in store: the Brickyard BBQ Spud, a large potato filled with a spicy cheese sauce, shredded pork or chicken barbecue, broccoli, carrots, shredded cheddar cheese and topped with crispy bacon.

Free Kids' Movie Screening

Want to take the kids to the movies, but can't stand the high ticket prices? Head over to the Indianapolis Public Library's Irvington branch for a free movie screening of "Monsters University." It begins at 10:30 a.m.

Wednesday Business Day Game at Victory Field

The Indianapolis Indians will host Charlotte at 1:35 p.m. at Victory Field. More information here.

Symphony in the Park (Free!)

Holliday Park hosts Symphony in the Park at 8 p.m. and it's free. Find it at 6363 Spring Mill Road. More information here.

The final concert of this summer's series will present the full complement of ISO brass and percussion sections performing a variety of tangos, fanfares and marches. You're encouraged to bring out a picnic, chairs and blankets but no alcohol.
