#INDYTODAY | Events for Wednesday, March 19 in the Circle City

INDIANAPOLIS - Top-tier swimmers and divers, kicking "butt," and happenings at the Eiteljorg. Here's the scoop on some things going on this Wednesday in Indianapolis with #INDYTODAY.

NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships

Many of the country's best collegiate divers and swimmers are getting their feet wet in Indy this week for the NCAA Division-III Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving championships. Through Saturday, the athletes will compete for national titles. Single-session tickets and all-session tickets are still available for all events at IUPUI's IU Natatorium.

Kick Butts Day

They're kicking butts all over town. But it's not what you think. Today, Indiana youths are joining thousands nationwide for the 19th-Annual Kick Butts Day. More than a thousand events are taking place across the U.S. for this celebration of youth leadership in the fight against tobacco. Students at Shortridge High School are taking part and will create a poster to be displayed at the Statehouse, showing why they are tobacco-free.

Indianapolis Hospitality Week

The Eiteljorg Museum will host its first Indianapolis Hospitality Week. Hospitality industry workers and their families will receive complimentary admission to the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art through Sunday.
Possible traffic headache
As the National Council of Teachers of English arrive downtown this week, you could see some gummed-up traffic. The Conference on College Composition and Communication begins Wednesday in Indy and runs through Saturday. The event is being held at the JW Marriott.
