#INDYTODAY | Events for your Monday (August 4) in the Circle City

INDIANAPOLIS - The state fair, baseball, free movies for the kids and much more! There are some great things to do Monday in Indianapolis with #INDYTODAY. 

Every day, we'll keep you in the loop on happenings in Indy. This Monday, there are a quite few items on the to-do list that might tickle your fancy.

Indiana State Fair

Head down to the state fairgrounds at 38th Street and Fall Creek Parkway North for great (mostly fried) food, rides, exhibits, and much, much more. General admission at the gate is $10 for adults, with kids ages 5 and younger free. It all kicks off at 8 a.m. every day from Friday till Aug. 17.

Free movie screening

"Hunger Games: Catching Fire" will be shown at 1:30 p.m. at the Indianapolis Public Library's Central Branch. More information here. 

The Curiosity Fair

Bring the kids out to Conner Prairie for the Curiosity Fair. Kids (and those who are young at heart) are invited to play, create and investigate the mysteries of their surroundings. It runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. More information here.

Children's Museum

The Children's Museum of Indianapolis is always chock-full of fun activities for the kids. And a lot of them are educational, too.

Indians face off with Mud Hens

The Indianapolis Indians host the Toledo Mud Hens beginning at 7:05 p.m. at Victory Field. More information, including tickets here.
