INDIANAPOLIS - The state fair, baseball, free movies for the kids and much more! There are some great things to do Monday in Indianapolis with #INDYTODAY.
Every day, we'll keep you in the loop on happenings in Indy. This Monday, there are a quite few items on the to-do list that might tickle your fancy.
Indiana State Fair
Head down to the state fairgrounds at 38th Street and Fall Creek Parkway North for great (mostly fried) food, rides, exhibits, and much, much more. General admission at the gate is $10 for adults, with kids ages 5 and younger free. It all kicks off at 8 a.m. every day from Friday till Aug. 17.

IMPD Downtown District Community Day
Head to Georgia Street between Illinois and Meridian streets from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the annual Indianapolis police (IMPD) Downtown District Community Day.
It comes with a celebrity donut-eating contest, an IMPD vs. IFD (Indianapolis Fire Department) cook-off, and much more fun. Plus, there's free food from more than 23 area restaurants.
The Children's Museum of Indianapolis is always chock-full of fun activities for the kids. And a lot of them are educational, too.

Indians take on Red Wings
The Indianapolis Indians will host the Rochester Red Wings tonight at 7:05 at Victory Field. Head here for ticket information.
