When officers and medics arrived, they found baby Omo Gonzalez dead inside the apartment.
Officers started searching for the mother of the infant when they were notified that the infant's mother had committed suicide by walking in front of a vehicle on I-77.
The sheriff's office told NewsChannel5 a semi-truck was involved in the incident.
According to a report by the CantonRep.com , police said the infant's death appears suspicious.
