INDIANAPOLIS -- Two former IPS administrators are suing the district, claiming they were wrongfully terminated for their role in the Shana Taylor sex investigation.

William Jensen and Deb Leser both filed federal lawsuits against IPS. They say they were wrongfully terminated following accusations they failed to immediately report allegations that Taylor had sexual relationships with a student.

Jensen was the interim principal at Longfellow Alternative School at the time. Leser was the head of student services.

A spokesperson for IPS released this statement about the lawsuit:

"IPS has reviewed the claims. We believe they are without merit, and we will vigorously defend against them. No further comment will be offered on pending litigation."
