INDIANAPOLIS -- One child was taken to a hospital after an IPS school bus crashed with multiple vehicles Wednesday morning on Indianapolis' northeast side.
The crash happened near the intersection of 38th Street and Arlington Avenue around 8:30 a.m.
Investigators said a car and a pickup truck were driving eastbound on 38th Street when the driver of the car rear-ended the truck, according to police.
The pickup truck was pushed into oncoming traffic when the school bus, driving westbound, struck the vehicle before running off the road and hitting three parked vans and a street sign.

The child, the bus driver and the driver of a pickup truck were taken to a hospital, all with minor injuries.
Police said the driver of the car, Jeffery Twitty, was arrested at the scene for a violation of parole warrant for burglary.
There were six vehicles involved.
Police said the 14 children were on their way to Shortridge High School.
