IPS school bus involved in accident on city's NW side

INDIANAPOLIS - At least one person was injured when an Indianapolis Public Schools bus was involved in an accident with another vehicle on the city’s northwest side Wednesday afternoon.
The incident happened near West 30th Street and Cold Spring Road around 3 p.m.
The driver of the bus was taken to the hospital for minor head and neck injuries, officials said.
Parents on the scene told RTV6 the bus came from Northwest High School.
Officials said the bus brushed against a passenger car. There was minor damage to the side of the car.
It was estimated about 30 to 40 students were on the bus at the time. Another bus arrived to pick up the kids after the accident.
