ISP: Motorist clocked at 130 mph on Intersate 64 faces reckless driving charges

GIBSON COUNTY, Ind. - A driver was arrested Saturday after Indiana State Police clocked him doing 130 mph on Interstate 64 in southwest Indiana.

Just after 6 a.m., an ISP trooper spotted a speeding 2006 Volkswagen Passat on I-64 near mile marker 24 in Gibson County, about 30 minutes north of Evansville.

Police said James Moore, 22, of Scott Air Force Base, Ill., was headed west driving 130 mph.

Moore was arrested on reckless driving charges and taken to the Gibson County Jail where he was held on a $1,100 cash bond.
