POSEY COUNTY, Ind. - An Illinois man was arrested in Indiana Tuesday after an officer found drugs during a traffic stop, police said.
James Braddock, 44, of Eldorado, Ill., was pulled over on State Road 62 in Posey County for driving 75 mph in a 55 mph zone, police said.
The officer smelled marijuana inside the vehicle, which led to a search, police said.
Police said the trooper found marijuana, meth, pills and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle.
Braddock was arrested on preliminary charges, including two felonies for possessing meth and a controlled substance, and two misdemeanors for possessing marijuana and paraphernalia.
Braddock was released from the Posey County Jail after posting bond, police said.
