INDIANAPOLIS -- Monday, Feb. 15 is Presidents Day -- or, as it's known legally -- Washington's Birthday.

In Indianapolis, the post offices are closed and no mail will be delivered on Monday.

But the City-County offices are open for business, except for the courts and clerks' offices.

If you have the day off work or school today, there are a few Presidents Day activities available to the public.

  • Admission is free to Conner Prairie on Monday, with many Presidents Day-themed events happening, such as fireside chats with Franklin D. Roosevelt. Conner Prairie is located at 13400 Allisonville Road in Fishers.
  • The NCAA Hall of Champions is also open Monday. It is offering visitors free admission until 3 p.m.
