INDIANAPOLIS - A request by Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay to have his trial delayed has been granted.
The trial date was initially set for Aug. 28, but a motion for continuance was filed by Irsay’s lawyers Monday.
Irsay's new court date is scheduled for Oct. 30 at 9 a.m.
Irsay faces two misdemeanor charges and is accused of driving while intoxicated in Carmel last March.
