GREENWOOD, Ind. -- Vandals strike again at a popular weekend hangout in downtown Greenwood. The Suds, a drive-in, originally opened as a Dog n' Suds and has been THE PLACE to cruise since 1957. The classic Greenwood restaurant has been visited by hundreds of thousands of classic cars and trucks over the years but now the owners and nearby businesses are dealing with more and more vandalism.

The latest incident in Market Plaza, which is just west of Madison Ave and south of Main Street, happened just this week at Kenny's Transmissions.  The Suds posted these photos of the damage to their neighboring business's vehicles. They report that several cars sustained extreme damage and that damage is estimated to be in the tens of thousands of dollars.

But this extensive damage from in September, is just another incident in a long line of vandalism reports in the area.  Take a look at these photos The Suds posted back in August when vandals struck their restaurant.  The store posting that after this damage they are forced to put up "no trespassing" signs on the property - saying, they hate to do this but have no alternative.

And you may have seen the damage done by vandals caught on camera back in July. In the photos you can see the iconic statue, toppled over on to a fence - tablecloths ripped to shreds.  The business posted the damage pictures on social media.

Looking back to June of this year, you can see more pictures of damage - this time glass of windows shattered all over the sidewalks.  The Suds took to social media and received an overwhelming number of responses from the public and fans of the iconic drive-in.

They posted on Facebook, "Thank you so much for all the help that has been offered by everyone. Very overwhelming to see nearly 55 thousand views and concerns. The most recent vandalism was caught on cameras. Close up pictures of all the little darlings that were involved ( 3 boys and two girls). Thank you to Greenwood P.D. for the extra time that was taken today to find them."
