INDIANAPOLIS – Chances are those who were once unfamiliar with Indianapolis, have now heard of the city several times as restaurants like Milktooth and now hotels like JW Marriott, are topping charts.
The five-star, 33-story JW Marriott was ranked 25th on Conde Nast Traveler’s 50 Best Hotels in the World list. The hotel made an addition to the downtown Indy skyline in 2008 and since has become a popular destination for visitors and Hoosiers who want to experience luxury.
The hotel features more than 1,000 guestrooms showcasing floor-to-ceiling windows, in addition to a ballroom, multiple meeting spaces and two full-service restaurants: Osteria Pronto and High Velocity.
Of the top 10 Midwest hotels included on the list, the JW is No.1 with two other Indianapolis hotels trailing behind: The Conrad, No.3, and the Alexander, No. 10.
