INDIANAPOLIS -- Despite announcing his decision to not campaign in the state, Ohio Gov. John Kasich will be in Indiana this week, albeit for a private event.
Kasich had previously scheduled two public events in the state -- a town hall meeting in Hamilton County, and an election night watch party in Indianapolis. Those were canceled Sunday night when he announced he would suspend his campaign in the state.

Kasich will still come to Indianapolis Tuesday for a previously scheduled fundraiser, a spokesperson with the campaign said. The fundraiser will be a private event.
The spokesperson also said he has previously held fundraisers in multiple locations where he isn't campaigning.
