Knife-wielding robber holds up Fishers Circle K; search launched

Circle K at 96th and Allisonville robbed

FISHERS, Ind. - Investigators and police dogs searched Wednesday morning for a man who robbed a Fishers Circle K at knife-point and got away with cash from the register.

The Fishers Police Department said just before 2 a.m. Wednesday that the Circle K located at 96th Street and Allisonville Road was held up.

The attendant reported to investigators that a white man entered the store, displayed a knife and demanded money. The attendant complied and was not hurt in the exchange, police said.

The man ran away and police said K-9 units were deployed to search for him.
Police described the man as white, about 20 to 30 years old with a thin build standing 5 feet 6 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a black-hooded coat, a scarf and dark-colored pants.
