LAFAYETTE - Lafayette police were searching for a missing girl who did not come home from school Tuesday, and they announced Wednesday morning just before 8 that she had been found.
Selena Hawkins, 12, is 5 feet 1 inch tall. She was last seen wearing a blue shirt, tan pants, pink and gray shoes and a lime-green backpack, officials said.
Hawkins is a student at Tecumseh Middle School.
