LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Police are searching for a masked robber who held up a Lafayette convenience store wearing plastic grocery bags on his feet.

The Village Pantry at 1805 Brady Lane was robbed just before 2:30 a.m. Tuesday.

A man came into the store, pulled out a knife and demanded cash from the clerk, police said.

The robber was described as white, 5 feet 7 inches tall and 150 pounds with a medium build.

He was wearing a green camouflage jacket, blue jeans and a black ski mask, along with grocery bags over his shoes.

The clerk was not injured.
