INDIANAPOLIS -- Another presidential candidate will speak to the U.S. Conference of Mayors before their Indy meeting ends, one who is trying to take advantage of the disaffection with both of the prospective major party nominees.

Gary Johnson, the Libertarian Party’s nominee for president, will speak to the conference at 11:15am Monday.  The former Republican governor of New Mexico will be the second presidential candidate at the conference.  Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton is scheduled to speak Sunday afternoon at the J.W. Marriott to the 300 mayors in attendance.

Republican candidate Donald Trump was also invited to the conference, but it does not appear that he will make an appearance.  Trump has been in Scotland over the last few days for the opening of his new golf course.

Johnson has been polling around 10-percent in some national polls, as both Clinton and Trump have disapproval ratings above 50-percent.
