Local celebrities dish sundaes on Monument Circle to benefit Girl Scouts

Event runs 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

INDIANAPOLIS - Local celebrities, including some RTV6 personalities, will be dishing up ice cream sundaes on Monument Circle Friday.

RTV6 anchor Beth Vaughn and StormTeam 6 meteorologists Ashley Brown and Todd Klaassen will be celebrity scoopers at the event, which runs 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in front of Hilbert Circle Theatre.

The southeast quadrant of the circle was closed to traffic before 8 a.m. and will remain closed throughout the event.

The American Dairy Association of Indiana is sponsoring the event for the 24th consecutive year.

Sundaes are $3 each, and the proceeds will benefit Girl Scouts of Central Indiana.

Other activities include face painting, a photo booth, a scavenger hunt and more.
