Lutheran Health Network plans to expand a Fort Wayne office where it where it processes billing and insurance claims and add perhaps 320 jobs in the next few years.
Gov. Mike Pence joined local and business officials for the announcement Thursday that Lutheran Health will move its Shared Services Center to a larger location in a business park near Interstate 69 on the city's west side.
Lutheran Health says about 175 people now work at the center, which also handles customer service calls for its eight hospitals in northeastern Indiana.
The Indiana Economic Development Corp. is giving Lutheran Health up to $3.25 million in tax credits and $200,000 in training grants based on its hiring plans.
