ANDERSON, Ind. – A teen was shot in the face with a handgun in Anderson Friday night.
Anderson police said the 14-year-old was shot in the 900 block of Walnut Street near Anderson University.
The male teen was taken to an Anderson hospital and then transferred to an Indianapolis hospital. Officers said he was responsive when he was found.
Police said they are unsure if the shooting was accidental or if a suspect was involved.
