LAWRENCE, Ind. – A 20-year-old man was arrested Thursday for allegedly pointing a gun at Lawrence police officers.

A spokesperson with the Lawrence Police Department said officers with Lawrence and the ATF were conducting surveillance on somebody wanted on a robbery warrant in the 5300 block of Jonathan Trace.

They spotted the person and ID'd themselves as law enforcement when the suspect pulled a gun out of his waistband and pointed it at the officers.

An ATF agent then fired two shots. Nobody was hit or wounded in the incident.

The suspect, identified as 20-year-old Tristan Davis, surrendered to police after the agent fired the shots.

Davis faces charges of carrying a handgun without a license, pointing a firearm and criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon.
