INDIANAPOLIS - Indianapolis police announced Tuesday afternoon they arrested a suspect in connection to an April 16 homicide.
Homicide detectives arrested 23-year-old Deandre Kendrick in connection to the fatal shooting of 29-year-old Ronald Howard, officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said.
Kendrick faces a preliminary charge of murder. The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office will make the final charging decision.
Howard was found in an SUV in the 2800 block of North Gladstone Avenue with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Jermaine Sisk, 31, was also found with gunshot wounds on the porch of a nearby house. He was taken to Eskenazi Health in serious condition.
