INDIANAPOLIS -- A man is accused of carjacking a pickup truck with an 8-year-old boy inside, and Indianapolis police say he's still at-large.
The incident happened on August 4 on Indy's southeast side.
The victim left his pickup truck running with his son inside and went into the A&A Market at 2458 S. State Ave. to make a purchase.
Police say the suspect opened the truck door and pulled the victim's son out.
The victim was walking back to his truck when he saw the suspect pull up his shirt and show a silver semi-automatic handgun, according to police.
The suspect then drove off in the victim's green 2003 Dodge Dakota pickup truck with Indiana license plate number TK502MYP.
