PUTNAMVILLE, Ind. - A Putnam County man was arrested on animal cruelty charges after police said he killed his three young dogs.
Officers with the Indiana State Police said Todd Marsee, 47, became agitated with his 3-month-old pit bull puppies and hit them on the heads with a blunt object, causing their deaths.
Marsee was taken into custody from his home Wednesday afternoon, police said.
Marsee was also charged with probation revocation from an unrelated strangulation case, police said.
He was being held in the Putnam County Jail without bond.
